About the Role:

This role is responsible for utilising advanced modelling and data analytics to provide robust forecasts, analysis and reports that enable more effective, timely and informed business decisions. The role is also responsible for building strategic relationships with key stakeholders and influencing positive outcomes for the organisation.

The role will report directly to the Head of Business Planning & Analysis and work closely daily with the Ageing Commercial Manager.

 Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including developing and maintaining 3-way financial statements, valuation models and scenario models
  • Create mechanisms to synthesise large volumes of data into models through automation (e.g. macros, power pivots)
  • Delivery of robust/logical 36 month rolling-forecast, particularly in light of the implementation of our new budgeting and forecasting tool – using Workday Adaptive Insights to create predictive forecasts
  • Strong commercial mindset used to drive financial and non-financial KPI performance through deep analysis of historical trends and external benchmarks
  • Dissect and analyse large volumes of data/information, identify actionable insights and provide recommendations to improve business performance. Requires strong problem solving and advanced financial analysis
  • Develop reporting and data visualisation capability using tools like Power BI
  • Advanced report writing and power point presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Lead and develop team members
