The role

As a Family Services Senior Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Family Services Team Leader through day-to-day clinical activities and providing guidance to Family Services Practitioners. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing a complex caseload, and guiding families towards recovery, sustainable change, and positive functioning.

Your Experience

To be eligible for this role, a tertiary qualification in a discipline related to Social Work e.g. Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Psychology in addition to proven experience in working therapeutically with complex children and vulnerable families is required.

Your proficiency in working collaboratively with Child Protection Services and facilitating meetings effectively as well as a deep understanding of child development, trauma theory, family violence and related fields will be invaluable in this role.

Your strong organisational skills, consultative approach, analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills in addition to proven emotional intelligence, adaptability and accountability will be essential assets.
