We are seeking someone with family support work and/or expertise on the early learning system to support families in Mount Druitt to enroll in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). • Advocate for the needs of families within various settings, specifically in circumstances that are hindering a family’s ability to enroll or sustain their enrolment in ECEC
  • Confidently connect and collaborate with various stakeholders across 2770 including preschool and childcare centres and local services, creating opportunities and pathways for warm referrals to be made
  • Use a trauma-informed lens in both working with and understanding the needs of the families with which you work
  • Build rapport and relationships with both services and families, in particular through attending community engagement activities
  • Complete administration tasks such as paperwork and record keeping in an efficient and diligent manner
  • Work within a small team that promotes a dynamic, flexible and innovative working environment.

As the Early Learning Linker you will have a Social Work, Early Childhood Education or similar tertiary education degree, and will have some experience working 1:1 with vulnerable and/or disadvantaged families and communities.
