The Victorian Alcohol & Drug Association Inc. (VAADA) is seeking a business all-rounder to join its high impact team to support the day to day coordination of business functions across the organisation.

VAADA is a Health Promotion Charity, whose goal is to promote the reduction of alcohol and drug related harms in the Victorian community. We are a member driven peak body representing AOD treatment services, harm reduction organisations and services committed to VAADA’s purpose of providing leadership, education and mutual support in the field of AOD dependence. This includes through policy, program development and public discussion.

Our vision is a Victorian community in which the harms associated with AOD use are reduced and wellbeing is promoted.

The role

The Business Support Coordinator works closely with the Corporate Services Manager to coordinate day to day business support at VAADA in a range of operational areas including finance, Information Technology (IT), records, Human Resources (HR) and office administration. Professional duties include accounts payable and receivable, supporting recruitment and liaison with key contractors and suppliers. The Business Support Coordinator also takes an active role in the delivery of key VAADA projects that support quality and business improvement. This includes the establishment of a SharePoint file management system.

This is an ongoing part-time position (3 days per week), paid at Level 5 of the SCHADS Award.
