The Victorian Alcohol & Drug Association Inc. (VAADA) is seeking an Executive Assistant to support its strategic leadership functions including providing direct support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and VAADA Board.

VAADA is a Health Promotion Charity, whose goal is to promote the reduction of alcohol and drug related harms in the Victorian community. We are a member driven peak body representing AOD treatment services, harm reduction organisations and services committed to VAADA’s purpose of providing leadership, education and mutual support in the field of AOD dependence. This includes through policy, program development and public discussion.

Our vision is a Victorian community in which the harms associated with AOD use are reduced and wellbeing is promoted.

The Executive Assistant provides executive support to the VAADA CEO and governance support to the Board of Directors. This includes undertaking secretariat duties for Board and Board Subcommittee meetings, and serving as an interface for the CEO with external stakeholders such as VAADA members, government representatives and other key stakeholders. The position also works closely with the CEO to report on the success of strategic operational plans at VAADA.

This is an ongoing part-time position (2 days per week), paid at Level 4 of the SCHADS Award.
