The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. The role of Client Support Officer will be responsible for providing one on one support to our clients – Stolen Generations survivors – on their journey to find and be reconnected to their family, culture and traditional country. In your role you will assist our clients to apply for their adoption or foster records, relevant birth, death and marriage certificates and any other records from record holders all over Australia.
These records will be used by you to confirm Aboriginal connections, traditional country, location of living family and loved ones who have passed.
