The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. As Program Manager, you will lead a team focused on service improvements, compliance assessments, and quality standards. You will assess requirements, gather evidence, monitor progress, and report findings and recommended actions to the Executive Manager CSQ for leadership and board updates. Collaborating with stakeholders across VACCA, you will identify risks, good practices, and opportunities for improvement, fostering a learning culture and enhancing services to the community.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong alignment with VACCA's values and a deep understanding of Aboriginal cultures and the issues affecting these communities. They must have expertise in DFFH regulations, legislative and compliance requirements, and accreditation standards such as Social Service Standards, Rainbow Tick, and Child Safe Standards. The role requires leadership in supporting staff culturally, alongside excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, is essential.
