About the role

The Support Officer- Foster Care position sits within the Foster Care Program, reporting to the Team Leader. The Support Officer is responsible for assisting with administration such as electronic filing and other office support duties as required. The role holds a key role in ensuring smooth operations of the office, enabling VACCA program staff to deliver quality services to Aboriginal children and families.

About You

  • Organisational skills, including time management, attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, such as reliability and enthusiasm
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to undertake general administrative tasks and electronic record keeping
  • Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
