The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. This role is responsible for supporting practitioners that work in the Aboriginal Response Team (ART) of The Orange Door Hub based in Box Hill and reports to the VACCA Program Manager.
The Team Leader provides leadership to practitioners within the ART and offers practice guidance across intake, risk assessment and management, crisis response and service referral as required for Aboriginal community members seeking supports through TOD. This role also supports cultural consultation to practitioners working in TOD where required working alongside the Aboriginal Practice Leader.
