The Senior Project Officer, Aged Care & Elders works within VACCHO’s Quality of Life Team to support the Aboriginal Aged Care and Elder Support workforce employed in the Victorian ACCO sector. The Senior Project Officer also supports VACCHO’s coordination of sector governance activities auspiced under the Victorian Committee for Aboriginal Aged Care and Disability (VCAACD). The Senior Project Officer enables and coordinates the delivery of training and workforce development activities, including the delivery of non-accredited training to Elder Care Support Workers, and the coordination of training to meet the needs of the wider workforce. This role will liaise with the Aged Care workforce to ensure their training and professional development support adequately enables them to support older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in their Communities.
To be successful in this role, you will need a demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Officer. You will require experience in the coordination, leading and delivery of non-accredited training while also collaborating with ACCO's to development the necessary resources for the sector.
