We are looking for a dynamic program/project manager who is experienced and passionate about advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and care within the cancer sector.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Manager role will be involved in developing and then delivering project activities for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer care and control program, supporting the integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumer and community voices into program work.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders, such as the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO), Department of Health Victoria, and Cancer Australia, to improve cancer outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by ensuring research aligns to the marra ngarrgoo marra goorri Aboriginal Research Accord, is guided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumer and community voices, and ensures best practice educational principles of equity, access and co-design.
You will enjoy being the key contact to develop culturally appropriate strategies and drive outcomes, navigating complexities and project managing initiatives to ensure positive impact.
