As a Major Gifts Officer, you will play a crucial role in meeting or surpassing donation revenue goals. You will achieve this by fostering and strengthening our deep engagement and relationships with existing partners and key supporters. You might be currently working in relationship management, account management, philanthropy, or major giving roles and are eager to leverage your skills and experience to make a tangible impact on our world
Join our major gifts team as a fundraiser, reporting to the Co-Head of Philanthropy. You’ll develop prospect research and moves management skills to secure support from individuals, businesses, and foundations, achieving fundraising targets and growing the major donor pipeline for the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. You’ll also collaborate with the broader fundraising team, including Database and Individual Giving Managers.
The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (the Institute) is dedicated to finding cures for cardiovascular disease and is one of the most respected heart research facilities in the world. Renowned for the quality of its breakthroughs, the Institute was established in 1994 and has grown to a team of more than 200 researchers from around the globe, working across five divisions.
A global centre-of-excellence, it integrates Cardiac Physiology and Transplantation, Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Cardiology and Biophysics, Structural and Computational Biology, as well as Vascular Biology. At the Institute, we translate our discoveries into new diagnostics, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease - reducing the incidence, severity, and impact of heart disease.
