The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to implement an innovative project that will support the growth and development of the community services industry.

We’re looking for someone with great project experience who can design and deliver a strategic program of work that will support the Victorian Government and the community services sector to deliver a flagship industry project: the Community and Social Services Graduate Program (CASS-GP).  

The Project Coordinator will manage VCOSS’ partnerships with community sector bodies and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, as well as relationships with employers, universities and TAFEs, and other stakeholders who are integral to the program’s success. They will contribute design thinking and facilitate sector engagement to help establish a structured graduate year program that can:  

  • Increase completion rates for relevant courses. 
  • Have more graduates move into community and social services. 
  • Improve early career retention. 

The role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of an initiative that will shape future directions in workforce strategy and policy and program design.
