This exciting opportunity is working for two respected welfare-focused-not-for-profits, with all profits going back to the organisations so they can continue to save more lives.
You will be surrounded by passionate and helpful volunteers - instead of clients! - and situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley of Victoria. No more being stuck in a stereotypical city-based vet clinic!

- This is a hybrid role which includes working from home hours, giving you flexibility and a good work life balance.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide effective support to the team, keep up morale and a positive work environment.
- Understanding and coordinating the surgery bookings with the booking team based on the rostered vet and skill set.
- Coordination of surgical transport team
- Stock control and ordering
- Rostering
- Maximise PMS - Set up of digital forms, automatic reminders, stock control etc
- Budgeting & P&L
- Building relationships with possible sponsors/donors
- Grow and expand the clinic as the demand increases
Do you possess the following attributes?
- Minimum 3 years in a PM role or similar.
- Minimum 5 years experience nursing.
- You must be highly experienced in nursing skills to be able to step in a provide nursing support to the team as required
- Experience with stock control and ordering.
- Experience with high-volume desexing clinics.
- The Queen or King of multitasking!
- You must be positive, dedicated and easy-going, yet organised and self-driven. Team players only.
- The ability to lead by example and drive a team in a busy environment.
- You must be committed and reliable to your role and your shifts.
- Excellent general computer literacy. A working knowledge of PetBooqz is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine love for animals and the wonderful team we have surrounding us. Team work makes the dream work!
This role will start as part-time, roughly 25-30hrs a week and will grow over time to full time (if that's what you prefer or staying part time is also an option too!) so this is a great opportunity to grow with the team and with this new project for both organisations.
