As an Industrial Officer (Member Response), you’ll be at the forefront of advocating for our members, guiding them through workplace challenges, providing strategic and actionable advice, and standing up for their rights in key workplace matters. This role places you directly in the action, where your efforts will have a tangible impact on the lives of Allied Health Professionals, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.

In working closely with our members, you’ll play a pivotal role in addressing grievances, advising on essential workplace documentation, and strengthening the solidarity and resilience of the Allied Health community. While delivering these essential services, you’ll also gain hands-on experience in industrial advocacy, build a foundation in employment law, and enhance your professional skills.

VAHPA - The Organisation

The Victorian Allied Health Professionals Association (VAHPA) is an industry-based union for Allied Health Professionals working in Victoria in the public, community and private sectors with a membership of just over 6000. VAHPA is an autonomous branch of the Health Services Union—HSU Victoria No. 3 Branch.
