About the Opportunity

As our Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will build relationships with community fundraisers, community groups and businesses while assisting with administrative tasks for the team to increase revenue through nurturing community fundraising. In this role you will also:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Vision Australia’s Community Fundraising Strategy.
  • Develop and execute tactical plans across community fundraising, Seeing Eye Dogs collection dogs and community groups.
  • Manage the relationship with Community Groups such as Lions International with a focus on raising funds through Lions Christmas Cake sales for Carols by Candlelight.

About You

As part of the Fundraising team, you should have a tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing or sales or equivalent experience In addition, demonstrated experience in delivering successful client/donor relationship outcomes with highly engaged supporters is encouraged. You will also have:

  • Thorough understanding of fundraising and the principles of community fundraising and stewardship.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy preparation, tactical development campaign planning and delivery.
  • Ability to meet significant in-person sales or fundraising targets – preferably in a fundraising environment and experienced in working within budget to deliver agreed outcomes.
