About the role:

Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee funds administration and support community legal centres (CLCs). As manager, you will lead a team managing the Community Legal Services Program (CLSP), ensuring compliance with funding agreements. You will also provide strategic advice to senior management on funds administration and collaboration priorities. Additionally, you will support the effectiveness of the CLC sector through collaborative initiatives, service planning, and targeted strategies.

This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country, with flexibility to work from other VLA offices across Victoria from time to time.

About you:

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with senior government and other leaders.
• Proven track record in managing and funding programs and projects.
• Experience in implementing collaborative initiatives, focusing on improving access to justice.
• Demonstrated experience in grants management and financial oversight.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the legal sector and its challenges.
• Expertise in strategic project management, implementing initiatives for organisational growth.
• Relevant experience in a management position and/or similar role.
