About Very Special Kids:

At Very Special Kids, we believe that all children and young people have the right to a quality of life, no matter how long or short their life may be. We are a highly respected organisation with circa 100 employees and over 600 volunteers who provide essential, free-of-charge, palliative care services for children and young people living with a life-limiting condition. Very Special Kids provides specialist services for the whole family, including counselling, peer support, bereavement support and respite and end of life care at Victoria’s only hospice for children and young people.

We have an opportunity for a Nurse Manager to lead the day-to-day management of the clinical team within the Very Special Kids Hospice. You will be responsible for clinical support, guidance, supervision and service development to ensure high-quality clinical services are provided.

To be successful

You will a Registered Nurse APHRA registered, tertiary qualified in either paediatric or palliative care nursing with a minimum of 5+years clinical experience with proven leadership experience in the community or healthcare setting. You will provide effective mentoring and leadership for the provision of high-quality clinical care with the support of the clinical nurse educator.
