Very Special Kids house and head office is located at our Malvern site, and we have fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team. Our new state-of-the-art hospice (including hydro-therapy pool) due to open mid-year will be a world class facility to support the complex needs of the children and young people in our care.
At Very Special Kids, we believe that all children and young people have the right to a quality of life, no matter how long or short their life may be. We are a highly respected organisation with circa 100 employees and over 600 volunteers who provide essential, free-of-charge, palliative care services for children and young people living with a life-limiting condition. Very Special Kids provides specialist services for the whole family, including counselling, peer support, bereavement support and respite or end of life care at Victoria’s only hospice for children and young people.
The Payroll Officer is responsible for:
This is an autonomous role, supported by our General Manager Business & Finance and working closely with our General Manager People & Culture and managers across the business. Working hours are flexible for the right candidate in considering our payroll cycle you would need to be available Monday and Tuesday each fortnight for payroll processing and reporting.
