Victorian Trades Hall Council (VTHC), the peak body for unions in Victoria, is looking for people who want to make a difference. We are seeking to employ a full-time Team Lead to lead our newly re-established training centre, the Victorian Labour College.
Our Labour College delivers WorkSafe-approved HSR and ARREO training as well as broader work health safety training (e.g. ComCare and safety and rights training in gendered violence and family violence as a workplace issue). Broader than OHS, the team also develops and delivers training relevant for workers, delegates, activists, workplace leaders, HSRs and affiliated unions as well as supporting other VTHC teams that deliver training with a focus on industrial and political development.
If you don’t meet all the requirements below, but are a keen learner and have an ambitious agenda for training working people in Victoria, we encourage you to apply.
This is an ongoing, full-time position set at Level 8 or 9 (approx. $113,000 – $124,000) of our classification structure, dependent on experience.
Victorian Trades Hall has an Enterprise Agreement with a monthly RDO (in recognition of occasional additional hours) and 12% superannuation.
This position will be based at Victorian Trades Hall in Carlton and will report to the Secretary through the Assistant Secretary.

Solidarity forever.
We strongly encourage people from First Nations, CALD backgrounds, people with a disability, women and LGBTIQA+ people to apply.
