About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Rostering Coordinator to join our team.

Annual salary $75,898.00 plus super.

You will support all divisions across the business to undertake effective rostering to backfill vacant shifts as well as overseeing the Wallara Locum (casual) Pool & Rover team in conjunction with the other Rostering Coordinator. To be successful in this role you will need to be organised, proactive, have exceptional interpersonal skills and have a resourceful approach!

You will be working 76 hours per fortnight as per the below roster:

Week 1:

Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am – 6:00pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch break

Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch break

Saturday 6:30am -7:00am & 3:30pm - 4:00pm + 1 hour for admin

Week 2:

Tuesday – Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch break

Saturday 6:30am -7:00am & 3:30pm - 4:00pm + 1 hour for admin

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum two years rostering experience, preferably in the disability field or healthcare sector
  • Disability experience (preferred)
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Strong administration, written communication skills and computer literacy
  • Detail focused approach - make sure the t’s are crossed and i’s dotted!
  • Resourceful and innovative approach
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to think laterally
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work
  • Commitment to the principles of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity and all relevant legislation.

Must haves

  • Right to work in Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check - We are working with vulnerable people and this check is required to ensure we are employing people that do not present a risk to participants
  • Full Victorian Driver Licence.
