Wayss is the largest provider of housing and family violence services in the South East Melbourne area. We exist so people can live a life free from family violence and have access to safe, sustainable and affordable housing.
Our vision is to be the major provider of social housing services and leading edge client support programs in the Southern Melbourne Metropolitan region.
We deliver funded services and programs across the local government areas of Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and Cardinia.
We are now seeking a qualified Case Workers within for the DCHAP program at Dandenong.
The Wayss Drug Court Homelessness Assistance Program (DCHAP) provides homelessness assistance and support to people who have been sentenced by the Drug Court of Victoria in Dandenong and have been identified as experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. DCHAP team members work as part of a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team, including the Dandenong Drug Court Magistrate.
The case worker will provide homelessness assistance and support to people who have been sentenced to a Drug Treatment Order (DTO). The case worker will work with people to obtain short, medium and long term affordable accommodation that meets the requirements and obligations as part of their DTO.

We are looking for a passionate, client-focused individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and can demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of quality services to clients.
This role requires a current Driver’s Licence and valid Working with Children Check. The candidate will need to have successfully completed Wayss’ pre-employment screening and a police check and evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
