We deliver funded services and programs across the Southern Melbourne Area including the local government areas of Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and Cardinia.

About the Role

The Renter Services Team is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of wayss owned housing and properties managed on behalf of other owners including Director of Housing, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).

Reporting to the Renter Services Team Leader, the Rental Services Officer will provide coordination and administrative services to ensure efficient and effective business operations of the Renter Services team.

Duties include:

  • Rent Management
  • Timely and efficient rent processing, including refunds and arrears
  • Coordination of property/renter functions in Chintaro database
  • General administrative duties

About You

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a sound understanding of management of accounts payable, rental management and general administration
  • Sound working knowledge of Chintaro or similar rental/property management systems.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to relative positively to a broad range of people and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and meet competing demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to improving service delivery and practice, and to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new programs.
