The role:
The Cleanable Manager (VIC) is responsible for all activities across a growing social enterprise cleaning business. This position will take the lead for financial management, client relationships, staffing, quality, safety and service delivery.
We are seeking applications from highly experienced commercial cleaning business managers to lead the business in:
- Strategic approach to planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing all aspects of the business to maintain financial viability and meet non-financial goals.
- Estimate new work and manage the completion of RFQs or tenders in partnership with our Business Development team.
- Seek business development opportunities to grow and maintain our market share
- Financial literacy is important, as you will lead budget setting, forecasting, financial management and monthly reporting.
- Build a high performing culture by developing the potential of your team through coaching and mentoring of supervisors and team leaders.
- Ensure services are compliant with contractual and legislative requirements (including but not limited to OH&S), and corrective actions implemented as needed
- Ensure individual and team KPIs are met and exceeded
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience at management level within the Commercial Cleaning Industry
- Must hold a current Australian driver’s license
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a high performing team is required
- Excellent communication, organisational, administrative and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, scheduling applications and general computer skills
- Solutions focused problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
- Experience with relevant financial and accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of relevant human resource principles and practices
- Understanding of workplace health and safety and ability to promote a safe work culture
- Alignment to the values and vision of Westgate Community Initiatives Group
- Experience handling and operating commercial cleaning equipment
