    Weave Youth & Community Services is a place-based community-led organisation located on unceded Gadigal and Bidjigal Land in Sydney, that has been delivering a range of programs, supports and services developed with and for the community for 48 years.

    About the role

    We are seeking a multi-talented Fundraising Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to shape Weave’s fundraising and partnerships strategy and implementation as we approach our 50 year anniversary in 2026. This new role offers the chance to drive growth and ensure sustainability.

    In this role, you will focus on:

    • Developing & Leading – Weave’s fundraising strategy, complete with clear goals and KPIs to secure Weave’s long-term sustainability. 
    • Fundraising – Expand our existing fundraising channels, including but not limited to major gifts, recurring donors, peer-to-peer fundraising, bequests, corporate partnerships, and Trusts/Foundations.
    • Innovating with CRM – Lead the strategic utilisation of our Salesforce CRM platform to develop and implement comprehensive donor and fundraising engagement processes.
    • Communications – Work alongside the Brand & Impact Manager to boost Weave’s   profile, build on our successful campaigns and leverage Salesforce to connect our donors and potential donors with our stories and impact.
    • Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with our CEO, Board, and management team to elevate Weave’s profile and articulate our unique value proposition to a diverse range of external stakeholders including government, corporates, individual donors, high net worth individuals and philanthropists.
    • Philanthropic Relations – Leverage your new and existing philanthropic networks to forge new donor relationships for Weave.
    • Risk Management – Manage and mitigate any risks to our reputation, particularly those associated with grants, donations, partnerships and communications. Review and update Weave’s Fundraising Policy and funds acceptance framework as needed and ensure compliance with the FIA Code.

    Our Team

    You will work closely with our CEO, Brand & Impact Manager, and Fundraising Manager on Weave’s fundraising initiatives, campaigns and communications.
