About the role

Your role will be to provide effective executive support to the CEO and manages operational Board business. The role will work in close collaboration with the Executive team and will interface with both internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years' executive assistance or equivalent demonstration of skills
  • Understanding of Not-for-profit governance, ideally with initial experience providing supports to a Board
  • Solid administration skills and experience in the provision of administrative/secretarial support in a matrix management environment
  • Exceptional secretarial and computer skills (ie. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to communicate and establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work effectively within set timeframes
  • Prior experience working within the sector or with a community-based organisation is desirable
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • Evidence of, or a willingness to undergo a National Police Records Check, Working with Children Check - Employee and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • LCS2 (Queensland Child Safety clearance) - will be provided by Wellways
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
