ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As our new Administration Officer, you will be the face and heart of our Campbelltown office and occasionally our shopfront and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for all those who visit and work here.

You will be an integral part of our organisation and your demonstrated communication and organisation skills will be an asset in ensuring a smooth connection between the external community and the Wellways services and programs.

This includes providing information relating to our services and programs, diverting all calls to the relevant teams, accurately recording and sharing of messages; distribution of incoming and preparation of outgoing mail; as well as assisting with administrational processes and ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are well maintained at all times.

Your support will reinforce the effectiveness of the wider organisation and you will be making a meaningful contribution to our overall success.

Our office is located on busy Queen Street.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • At least one years' experience in providing reception and telephone services support, or equivalent experience showing customer service and administration skills
  • Highly effective communication (phone manner in particular) and interpersonal skills
  • Thinking 'outside the square' when applying problem solving skills to issues
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Able to take an organised, methodical approach to work tasks
  • Accurate data entry and observes fine details
  • Current valid Driver's License is desirable
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • National Police Check (within 12 months)
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - Free online course
