The LLE Authority has been designed to be a sustainable and influential LLE voice that operates and impacts at the governance level of the organisation including on strategic direction and planning, organisation policy and culture, budget, advocacy and research priorities, and organisation performance. The Board expects to learn from, be challenged and held to account by and to work in partnership with the LLE Authority to ensure that governance decisions reflect LLE perspectives.
The LLE Authority will actively connect to LLE voice and expertise across Wellways' programs and service and all states and territories in which Wellways operates.
The LLE Authority is in its formative stages and the Senior LLE Authority Support Officer will play a critical role in enabling and supporting the LLE Authority in its establishment, and early development phases, and in shaping and delivering on the full range of its roles and responsibilities, as well as in determining its own self-governance processes.
The LLE Authority Support Officer is expected to have lived experience and work from a LLE perspective bringing to the role an innovative and creative mindset as well as substantial project management experience and a deep understanding of governance/advisory functions.
The role will work closely with and report to the Co-Chairs of the LLE Authority and using their lived experience and engage in collaborative relationships with the National Manager Advocacy and Lived Experience Leadership and the LLE Governance Support Officer.
