Wellways, Mentis Assist and Peninsula Health are working together to provide mental health and wellbeing supports in Frankston to ensure everyone can access treatment and care closer to home.
The Frankston Mental Health Local will provides welcoming and inclusive support for people aged 26 years and over who are experiencing mental health challenges, including people with co-occurring alcohol and drug addiction treatment and care needs.
We are working with the local community and people who have a personal experience of mental health issues and recovery to build these services so they are the best they can be. Our services will be co-produced by consumers, carers and the local community.
The Frankston Mental Health Local is committed to reconciliation, lived experience and inclusivity. We strongly encourage and warmly welcome people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with a lived experience of mental health and disability and people who identify as LGBTIQA+ to apply. Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting to the General Manager Services, the Operations Manager, is a key senior leadership position that will play an integral role in changing and shaping the way mental health and wellbeing services and supports are delivered to the local Frankston community.
The goal is to lead a large multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic health care that will make a difference for consumers, carers and the wider local community. We know this can only be achieved through people working together so your ability to support, inspire and motivate a team to succeed will be critical. Your leadership skills of coaching, developing, guiding and directing others will be equally important.
This unique role will see you support the ongoing development of the team and is a true senior operations leadership role that will require you to balance the ongoing operational requirements with people leadership responsibilities and future focused strategic thinking. The role will be a dynamic and fast-paced one with collaboration at the forefront of everything you do.
If this sounds appealing, we warmly invite all people driven leaders with experience and passion in mental health and wellbeing services to contact us or complete an application.
