Wellways is committed to reconciliation, lived experience and inclusivity. We strongly encourage and warmly welcome people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with a lived experience of mental health and disability and people who identify as LGBTIQA+ to apply. Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.
PARCs are located in a community setting and provide an option for people who are becoming unwell, or who are in the early stages of recovery from an acute illness and need a short period of additional support to strengthen their gains from spending time in an inpatient setting and to consolidate their community transition and recovery treatment plans.
This PARC will provide an essential service within the continuum of care that will empower and provide opportunity to people to seek mental health care and treatment that they may not receive otherwise.
As the Senior Recovery Worker, your role is vital as you will be providing case coordination and management to residents of the PARC program, play an active role in supporting the ongoing development of the team as well as monitoring the quality of the program as a whole.
You will be joining a dedicated team to develop person-centred plans and deliver direct, practical support to individuals in our care. You will encourage them as they take steps towards their recovery and assist them in building long term support networks to ensure they are fully supported to continue their recovery after they exit the program.
Join us, and not only will you find a fulfilling career, but you'll also discover a host of benefits that enrich your personal and professional life. We're not just offering a job; we're inviting you to be a part of an inclusive, supportive, and purpose-driven community where your well-being and success matter most. Your journey towards a better future starts here.
