About the Role

The Project Lead – GP Matching position will work on projects across the Healthy Ageing Program to develop, coordinate and manage all aspects of projects for WVPHN, working with relevant stakeholders to enable timely delivery.

The Project Lead will be responsible for supporting key documentation and actions and will be pivotal in enhancing and supporting the project work of the healthy ageing portfolio. They will have demonstrable experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship building and data analysis.

This is a hybrid/remote role: working from anywhere in the western Victoria region, plus occasional office attendance and travel required for training, meetings and all staff days.

Duties include:

  • Support the Senior Manager Healthy Ageing on the development, implementation, monitoring, delivery, and evaluation of all aspects of the projects and the overarching PHN healthy ageing strategy.
  • Develop or contribute to identifying project timelines, deliverables, benefits (or outcome) realisation planning with the team and in line with funding and reporting obligations. 
  • Actively identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependency, and decisions and monitor delegations for action and maintain logs. 
  •  Support the Senior Manager Healthy Ageing to coordinate and procure services including contract management and commissioning of services. 
  • Provide support on identifying and documenting key stakeholder interest in the project’s outcome, including stakeholders at national, state, and local level. 

Key Selection Criteria (please address in your application)

  • Tertiary qualification and/or experience in business development, health, human services or other related discipline
  • Demonstrated considerable project management experience with multiple stakeholder projects or programs
  • Capacity to work both autonomously and in a team environment on a range of diverse issues to meet project or program quality requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical and evaluation skills as well as written, verbal and facilitation skills

  • Be prepared to undergo a National Police Check, prior to appointment
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence
  • Evidence of current COVID-19 vaccinations
