Willum Warrain Aboriginal Association

ABOUT WIllum Warrain

Willum Warrain operates an Aboriginal gathering place in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula. The Association was established 14 years ago and the Gathering Place opened in 2014. We are a whole-of-organisation charity and run cultural programs each week for Aboriginal people and kin, and cultural events throughout the year, many of which are open to the broader public. We also operate two social enterprises, Cultural Tours and a Bush Nursery, both of which provide employment opportunities for mob.

Led by an Aboriginal board, Willum Warrain offers a range of programs, services including information and referrals, charitable support, health and wellbeing programs, cultural activities, and fosters connections between the Aboriginal community and the broader local population. Our primary focus is on cultural strengthening.
