Windana invites you to be part of our Life-Changing mission, where your expertise will be the driving force behind transforming lives affected by drug and alcohol dependence.
We are a leading Victorian-based drug and alcohol treatment organisation. In November 2023, Windana & Taskforce merged into a single organisation - positioning us strongly for the future, extending our reach to more people with more services. With a combined history spanning almost 50 years, Windana is committed to making a positive impact.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide a range of treatment options to support individuals whose lives are impacted by alcohol or other drugs, including pharmacological support for withdrawal, referrals to health professionals, secondary consults to Windana Managers and Nurses.
The Nurse practitioner role spans across both the youth residential withdrawal setting and the non-residential withdrawal program. In consultation with the Operations Manager, you will broaden the scope of our service delivery to include face to face and telehealth support to other Windana sites.
We're a friendly, passionate, dynamic bunch of individuals that value continuous improvement and collaboration. We support growth and foster an inclusive and diverse workplace with a strong commitment to gender equality, wellbeing and LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
A valid Working with Children Check is mandatory for this position and a police check will be administered for preferred candidates. We are a child safe and equal employment opportunity employer.
