Set in a stunning natural environment, Windermere’s Frankston Early Learning Centre (ELC) offers a caring and supportive learning environment for children. From extensive, interactive outside play spaces – complete with veggie garden – to dedicated workrooms and separate sleep rooms for infants, children will be encouraged to thrive. Our purpose designed ELC is a first class facility offering regular and structured care.
We currently have a full-time position for a suitably qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join a team of warm and professional educators at our ELC in Frankston working in our 3 Year old program. You will be inspired by educational philosophies such as the Reggio Emilia, and have knowledge relating to emergent curriculum practices. Working directly with Kindergarten children, this leadership position will support the team in the implementation of quality Educational Programs fostering strong connections with children and families through positive interactions. Furthermore, your enthusiasm to mentor and support the professional development of our Assistant Educators will continue to ensure we provide an exceptional curriculum that supports children’s learning and development.
You will hold a Tertiary qualification in Early Education (Bachelor degree) and will have demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher a Long Day Care setting. You will be highly skilled in the development and implementation of quality educational curriculum, including proficiency with planning cycles and documentation in line with EYLF, NQF and NQS. Your exceptional mentoring, leadership and people skills with a natural ability to listen, learn, influence and build effective relationships with your team will be key to your success.
