Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care, housing and services. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania.
Wintringham is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our Support Services team: in our rostering team on a part time basis for 22.8 hours per week, over 3 - 4 days per week, days are negotiable. The role will be based at the Southern Tasmania Office in Bellerive. This fast-paced and dynamic role will see you liaising with our management team, Wintringham staff and Wintringham clients to provide a high-level service of care in the community. No two days are the same in our rostering team, so ideally, you will be flexible in your approach and be able to manage, prioritise and organise your time and workload effectively. A willingness and eagerness to work in a dynamic environment are required for this role.
Previous experience in a rostering role is preferred, but not essential, as Wintringham will provide excellent training and support to you from day one. This is an excellent opportunity if you have direct rostering/shift-fill skills and experience or transferable skills in community/aged care/disability support/Recreation or Nursing and are ready for a change.
We are committed to offering an enjoyable, safe and flexible workplace that provides a work-life balance. When you are working with Wintringham, you will have access to the following benefits:
Wintringham is committed to providing safe and inclusive environments and services. We celebrate differences in ability, age, culture, gender, gender identity, race, religion, sexuality, spirituality and beliefs. Everyone has a right to feel welcome, respected and valued in a workplace free of discrimination and harassment.
The safety of all older people is paramount, and we have zero tolerance for family violence including elder abuse.
Wintringham proudly acknowledges Australia’s First Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Country and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
Diversity and inclusion makes our community and Wintringham stronger, and contributes to helping us end homelessness for older people.
Applications for this role will take you to the employer’s site.
