About the Role
We have a vacancy for a Cook/Chef to join the PepperGreen Farm Catering team on a full-time basis.
This role is based at PepperGreen Farm Catering in Bendigo and will see you working Monday – Friday (7am – 3pm).
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and cooking of food for meals and catering orders.
- Maintenance of a food safe environment for the preparation and storage of products.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
About You
We are seeking someone with high levels of empathy and compassion to join the PepperGreen team. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage time and workload effectively to achieve business priorities in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to manage daily challenges through creative problem-solving and innovation.
- Capacity to work with people who experience a broad range of disability types and require varying support needs (desirable)
- Chef or Cook Qualifications (highly desirable).
- Food Handling and Food Safety Certificate.
- Current Manual Driver's licence (essential).
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism.
- The desire to contribute to our purpose and grow with the company.
Mandatory Screening: Australian National Police Check, Legal Rights to work in Australia, NDIS Workers Screening Check and WWCC.
