• Based in Grafton or Maclean office but expected to travel across both offices and within the Clarence Valley and Far North Coast region as required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about Aged Care. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dedicated and goal driven Home Care team to provide clinical care for our consumers in their homes.

About the program

Wesley Home Care offers older people a range of services designed to enhance their wellbeing and promote independence. Care and services to support and assist older people who wish to remain living in their own homes is provided through the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages. These two major programs are a key focus of our service delivery in home care.

About the role

We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide individualised clinical support and care to consumers appropriate to their care plan and clinical goals.

You will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses within a team of Care Advisors, Team Leaders, Support Workers and external clinical and allied health professionals to achieve holistic and individualised consumer care to older Australians with complex care needs living at home.

This position offers a Monday to Friday working schedule which is negotiable.

Essential criteria

• current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• holds a Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification in medicines administration
• minimum 3 years working within a clinical setting
• an understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• knowledge of My Aged Care funding and Aged Care services
• drivers’ licence (minimum P2 licence to drive a Wesley Mission vehicle)
• completely insured and registered motor vehicle
• satisfactory Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Nurses Award. Generous salary packaging available for permanent employees.
