About the program

Wesley Dalmar is a leading out of home care agency in NSW. We have a proud history of caring for children, young people and their families since 1893.

The role will work closely with Operations Managers – Sydney Placements to ensure that Wesley Dalmar continues to provide seamless service delivery to foster carers and children in their program.

About the role

The successful applicant will enjoy managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, monitoring project plan progress, and preparing high quality project documentation.

Wesley Mission provides regular supervision and support for all staff as well as range of opportunities for professional development and staff benefits. This is a child-related position and preferred applicants will be required to undergo a Working with Children’s Check and criminal record history check.

Essential criteria

  • tertiary qualification in Psychology / Social Work / Social science or related discipline
  • minimum five years’ experience in Out-of-Home Care
  • experience in leadership
  • ability to develop professional partnerships
  • proven ability to meet deadlines and budget
  • strong organisational processes and procedures
  • ability to work as part of a team and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • demonstrated high level communication (written and ****), negotiation and advocacy skills
  • sound record keeping, data collection and management, statistical analysis, report writing and computer skills including an ability to concisely and accurately record all key interactions
  • current NSW Driver’s Licence and a willingness to travel as required
  • willingness to affirm Wesley Missions vision, mission and values.

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 7, with capacity for salary packaging and the provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle available for private use or a motor vehicle allowance. Superannuation is paid in addition at 11.5%.
