We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in supporting parents with younger children, and young parents to build their parenting capacity and family functioning. Our Child Youth and Families team works within a framework that engages parenting assessment, goal setting and case management capability, and we work within the Uniting values of compassion, imagination, boldness and respect, to promote the best interests and safety of the child/children.
The Northern Family Futures team provide outreach support to families where at least one of the children is under the age of 5. The program uses the Parents Under Pressure framework to best support families to achieve their goals, and deliver the best outcomes that promote child safety, family functioning and wellbeing.
