This is a great opportunity to help identify and address gaps in local suicide prevention systems across the Wimmera Grampians region.
Your key focus will be on improving care coordination and service pathways for those at risk of suicidal ideation, attempted suicide, or those bereaved by suicide.
You will provide clinical oversight, senior clinical leadership, and supervision for Step Thru Care clinicians, especially those supporting at-risk consumers. Additionally, you will actively develop and implement community-based suicide prevention activities.
Step Thru Care is an integrated Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) support service available to support people with low-level needs to mild and severe mental health issues and or AOD support needs.
Uniting works in partnership with Grampians Community Health to deliver Step Thru Care services in the Wimmera Grampians region.
You’ll be joining a well-established, experienced team and the region's largest provider of Mental Health Services.
It’s a part-time (0.5 FTE) role until 30 June 2026. We offer flexibility with days and hours; talk to us about what you are looking for and we’ll see if we can make it work.
