As the ECT, you will support a team of educators that are passionate about nurturing the confidence, strengths, and interests of the children in our high-quality, Reggio Emilia inspired early learning program.
You will implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children and create a play-based learning environment responsive to children’s strengths and abilities. You will implement daily routines, maintain records of development, and continuously reflect and improve children’s learning.
In addition to base hourly rate and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increaseyourtake-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on rent, mortgage repayments, or living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.
There is also the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchase leave program. You can access a 60% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre and access to 10 weeks of paid parental leave.
Holding your early childhood degree (or equivalent), or 50% of the way through, you have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.
