About the opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Family Group Conferencing Specialist to join our team and contribute to the Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Response. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing a rapid, intensive, and evidence-based intervention to prevent at-risk children from entering or re-entering care. Your work will be grounded in a Family Group Conferencing model, fostering family-centred, strengths-oriented, culturally sensitive, and community-based decision-making. The role is responsible for promoting and facilitating this model within the FPR Response and training other practitioners within the organisation. It may require travel within Victoria to various Uniting locations.

Join an organisation where we don’t just provide a service. We use our connections, our size, our scale, and our knowledge to push into places where we feel like we should be doing more.

In addition to receiving a salary equivalent to SCHADS Level 6 and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

Receive 10% discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
