About the opportunity

As an Integrated Family Services (IFS) Case Worker, you will provide case management and support to vulnerable children, young people and their families who are being impacted upon by disadvantage. In this role, you will support individuals and families experiencing poverty, trauma, substance abuse, mental health and family violence and are potentially at risk of becoming involved with the Child Protection system or are already involved with child protection.

About you

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary Qualifications in human services, disability, welfare, social work (desirable)
  • A current eligible motor vehicle license to drive in Australia
  • A sound knowledge of the underlying principles of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
  • Knowledge of the statutory requirements related to working with young people and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people and families
  • Excellent knowledge of case management and issues that impact children, youth, and their families.
