    Your new role

    Working in a full time or part time capacity, you will provide clinical mental health services to young people with emerging mental health issues. You'll have the opportunity to guide clients through their journeys, offering, evidence-based interventions, and personalised treatment plans.

    Your key responsibilities in this role include:

    • Delivering mental health services, including assessments, individualised person-centred planning and coordination, and the delivery of relevant therapeutic interventions.
    • Designing treatment plans and interventions to assist young people in driving their recovery plan.
    • Coordinating support with service providers, including medical professionals, Government Departments and services, non-government organisations and schools.
    • Identifying and implementing community-based activities to support the social and emotional well-being of the individual on their recovery journey
    • Offering education and guidance on clinical matters within the team.

    About headspace Horsham

    headspace Horsham provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25 across the Wimmera with an awareness of the importance of providing of a positive experience in what may be their first connection with a mental health service.

    Your skills and experience

    You will have full or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or full membership or be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

    You will also bring with you:

    • A commitment to providing evidence-based clinical support to young people with emerging mental health concerns.
    • Extensive experience in clinical assessment, treatment, referral and case management.
    • A proven track record in the development and implementation of plans for young people with emerging mental health issues.
    • Experience working with clients who have mental health issues, as well as young people at risk of suicide and violence.
