This role engages with people, as a first point of contact, who may be experiencing crisis or have complex issues. The position supports other Uniting Vic Tas services such as Emergency Relief and Hartley’s café.
Our purpose is to equip consumers by building resilience and autonomy through positive and effective processes that will provide self-reliance. The position also acts to work with other staff in de-escalating behaviour when consumers become distressed or agitated.

In addition to receiving a salary commencing at $41.52 per hour + superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

We are looking for a Duty Worker who is able to work with people from all walks of life. The role will work closely with other Uniting Vic Tas services, and also other services within the Prahran and broader area. You will have:
