We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team at the new Inner East Orange Door. The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from Community Service Organisations, Aboriginal Services, Family Safety Victoria and DFFH, to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:
Uniting will be focusing specifically on the provision of services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development and wellbeing of infants, children and young people.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with the Orange Door team to deliver quality, safe and effective responses to children, young people and families seeking support through the Orange Door Support and Safety Hub. The Senior Practitioner will assist the Team Leader in managing referrals into the program, providing mentoring support to team members, and developing collaborative relationships with partner organisations and the broader service network. The role will deliver support to clients via phone, within the Orange Door site and at outreach visits.
