Your new role

Our newly created Outside School Hours Care Director is a senior role and will oversee and lead the strategic, financial, and operational management of our OSHC services across Western and Northern Victoria.

You will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery across our programs. You will support our Service Leaders to ensure our practices facilitate a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflects the National Quality Framework, taking our OSHC programs to the next level.

You will also act as the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader for OSHC and will support our Service Leaders in planning and implementing educational programs to produce high-quality, play-based educational and leisure programs.

Your skills and experience

You're known for your advocacy and passion for high-quality OSHC programs and have a track record in supporting and leading people.

You will also bring with you:

• Experience managing multi-site business operations, demonstrating business acumen, driving organisational development and managing change.
• Experience in people management, including recruitment, rostering, supervision, performance management and employee development and administration.
• Strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, child development and quality care practices and My Time, Our Place.
• Demonstrated experience in developing quality within a service and shaping the overall performance, including high-quality learning and leisure experiences for children.
• Demonstrated experience in shaping service delivery and practices to promote growth in quality care, safety, well-being and support of children and families.
• Victorian WWC check, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates.
• Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent – there are many options for equivalent qualifications (check your quals here)
