About the opportunity

As a part-time Educator at our new Outside School Hours Care program at Bundarra Primary School Portland you will be part of a small team of Educators delivering after school programs that support the wider community and provide high quality education and care to children.

• Working to one of the National or Victorian early learning frameworks, you will:
• Support the development an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child
• Help to increase enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs
• Contribute to a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate.

About you

You enjoy working autonomously while being part of, and supported by, a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You can develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, with empathy and support at the forefront of your work.

You’ll also bring with you:

• A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care or equivalent Approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification (please check position description)
• Experience gained in Early Childhood or engaging with children in some capacity
• Strong organisation and planning skills, including high attention to detail.
