The School Engagement Worker supports and assists with improving educational outcomes for children and youth. The main responsibilities include actively working with families, children and young people who struggle with poor engagement or disengagement from school and absenteeism. Partnering with the DET and other service providers to provide intervention strategies in order to retain children and youth within education settings.
