Uniting’s Kinship Care Program supports children and young people who are in the care of a family member when they are unable to live with their parents and when Child Protection is involved. We provide case contracted case management services to kinship families including outreach support, connection to services with a goal to support stable long term kinship arrangements.
The Senior Practitioner is responsible for the provision of practice support, guidance and mentoring of case workers to ensure work with clients is high quality, clinically sound and outcome focused. This role will ensure risk is appropriately and quickly identified and responded to, staff are well supported and high standards of practice care are followed.
